Seeking a Senior ColdFusion Developer who can support our Department of Justice client.
An ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. They will have experience maintaining high volume ColdFusion applications. The individual must be comfortable in a hands-on development role and able to work with a varied technology stack and toolset. They must possess significant ColdFusion expertise.
Your future duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Adheres to industry standard best practices for software development and maintenance.
Identifies and leads the way for making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
Designs, develops and maintains ColdFusion applications.
Troubleshoots production issues and recommends innovative and effective solutions.
Quickly identifies defects and their root cause during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Leads the design, development and implementation of software modifications in response to system change requests.
Works closely with Federal customer to ensure system functions according to stakeholder needs.
Monitor for new upgrades, releases, version updates, service packs, or patches that would improve the current system environment.
Experience in Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
Coding application logic via ColdFusion
3 plus years experience with SQL Server databases
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related field
Communicate status updates, development plans, and benefit analysis with clients and team leadership
Create and update relevant plans and documentation to support development efforts
Active participant in Agile development activities including planning poker, code reviews, retrospectives etc.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain an Agency specific Public Trust.
