CSRA is seeking a Sr. Managed Services leader to join our Digital Consulting & Solutions organization. You will help to shape our strategic direction around Managed Services and enable us to successfully pursue Managed Services growth opportunities. As a leader, you will help construct and communicate our point of view around Managed Services; consult with customers on the best strategies and solutions to move to Managed Services; help business development teams prepare for and respond to Managed Services solicitations; and expand our Managed Services offerings.
This opportunity will work out of our Center of Excellence in Chantilly, Virginia. (FREE gym on-site and walking trails adjacent to our building)
We are looking for an individual who is a strong leader; understands, first-hand, the challenges of building, buying and operating Managed Services; and can effectively engage and collaborate with customers, internal teams, and the media to bring our Managed Services solutions and value proposition to market.
Qualifications - Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Identify market trends in technology and business services for Managed Services solutions and work with our business units and technical leadership to incorporate innovations into CSRA’s capabilities
Work with business development teams and industry and Alliance partners to tailor our offerings and win strategies for specific client opportunities
Serve as a trusted advisor for our clients around how to successfully make the move to Managed Services and maximize its value
Work in collaboration with Capture and solution teams to generate RFI and RFP responses
Shape procurements through engagements with clients and at Industry and Government forums
Knows how to generate Managed Services business cases and TCO analysis
Mentor, train, and lead fellow team members and peers through Managed Services design and implementation decisions to achieve balance between strategic design and tactical needs
Qualifications - To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Fifteen or more years of business solutions experience
Exceptional business judgment and analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to define technology, process and business process improvement roadmaps and develop business cases and total-cost-of-ownership of solutions
Experience working with or knowledge of Managed Services solutions ( with deep knowledge / experience in at least ONE of the areas below ) and related capabilities such as:
End-User Services / Shared Managed Service Desk / Tier 0 - 3
ITSM / Change Management / ServiceNow
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Cloud Managed Services
Infrastructure, Network and Network Operations Center (NOC)
Cyber / Security Operations Center (SOC)
Business Process Services such Case Management or Visa Processing
Understands and has implemented Managed Services Transformation / Transitions for commercial or Federal Clients
Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes and procedures
Writing/Presentation development and presenting skills (PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel)
Ability to successfully manage and deliver on multiple, concurrent projects
Other Qualifications: It would be great if you also had:
Functional knowledge of network monitoring tools such as Splunk and SolarWinds
Experience and working knowledge of ITSM / CRM and BPM workflow applications such as ServiceNow, Salesforce or Pega systems
Working knowledge of telecommunications and workforce management technologies such as IVR, ACD and related WFM technologies such as Verint and InContact
Knowledge of Organizational Change Management components and its impact on an organizations’ transformation to Managed Service
Knowledge of security standards such as FedRAMP & FISMA
Willingness to travel occasionally to client site 10% of time
